  • Rocksteady’s Apple Pie Whiskey

Great recipe for those cool nights camping or evenings outside in the fall.

What you’ll need:

1/2 gal. apple juice

1/2 gal. apple cider

1 1/4 cups brown sugar

3/4 cup of white sugar

2 or 3 cinnamon sticks

3 whole cloves

1 tablespoon apple pie spice

1.6 to 1.75 quarts of your best sugar shine (170 proof or better)

Add all of your ingredients together, except for your sugar shine, in a large pot and bring to a boil. lower temperature to a simmer for about 20 minutes or untill your cinnamon sticks have fully unrolled and opened up. Let cool to room temperature and then add your sugar shine and refridgerate . Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

Note; I guess if you want to cheat a little you could use Everclear.

My apple pie recipe
1 quart apple cider
1 qt apple juice
8 to 10 ciniman sticks.
1 qt. + 140% shine or rum.
Put cider and apple juice with ciniman in a large pot simmer and reduce by 1/3rd… cool completely and stir in alcohol. Rejar. Put cooked ciniman sticks in jar after filling…chill n enjoy
